Melanie specialises in preparation of income tax returns, business activity statements and financial statements. She has thorough understanding of various accounting software including Xero, MYOB AccountRight, MYOB Essentials and Phoenix.

• Bachelor of Accounting (Financial Planning), Charles Sturt University
• Xero Advisor Certified
• MYOB Payroll Certified
• Currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting, Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand

Community Involvement:

Melanie is involved in the community through a number of local sports teams, not only playing but regularly volunteering to assist with game day jobs.

Profile:

Melanie joined Morse Group in 2018 as a part-time employee whilst completing her Bachelor of Accounting (Financial Planning) at Charles Sturt University. After completing her degree in 2020, Melanie became full-time at Morse Group, commencing the Chartered Accountants program in 2021.

Melanie assists our clients by:

• Meeting with them to advise on tax implications.
• Preparing tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies - including preparation of rental schedules, business schedules and capital gain calculations.
• Preparing tax planning and assisting with the timing of tax implications.
• Preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies.
• Assisting with the set up and use of cloud accounting software, including Xero, MYOB Essentials and MYOB AccountRight.
• Preparing payroll across a range of accounting software.
• Reconciling and preparing superannuation payments.

Melanie works out of both our Bathurst and Orange offices.
